I was reminded that the new SGA executive committee was officially taking over when Jen Higa sent out her first bolus email last week. That was on the official transition date of Wed, Feb 1st.. Since then, we've had a massive budget meeting (last Thursday), and today the new SGA board led their first senate meeting! We’re pleased to announce that as part of a renewed lease agreement with our current student printing services vendor, all student printers on campus will be replaced with newer model printers to provide an increase in student printing capabilities and reliability.

Student Printing Services Update

Printing services for Touro students will soon be converted into having half of the total number of printers into color printers and half into black and white printers. The new printers will be delivered tentatively within the next two weeks.

Printers will be installed one room at a time with at least one week’s notice ahead of time to minimize the downtime for students on campus.

Dying the way we want to is a significant problem. Surveys show that 70 percent of people say they want to die at home, yet 70 percent die in hospitals or nursing homes. Twenty-five percent of all Medicare costs are incurred by five percent of people in their last year of life.

Congratulations to COM 2014 for their 10+ point victory over COM 2015, with a score of 53-43. Led by Chau Bui's MVP strength and determination, being the ONLY girl on COM 2014's squad, she stayed in the whole ENTIRE game!!!! In an intense environment to say the least, COM 2014 managed to secure the #2 seed and will play the #3 PA/MPH-ers next Thursday.
