A Mare Island community garden's fall festival Tuesday brought neighbors together and raised money for a new gazebo.

From 4 to 7 p.m., the Vallejo People's Garden, 1055 Azuar Drive, hosted Fall Harvest Celebration featuring activities for children and adults, a Halloween costume contest, a fall bake sale and a free workshop on plant dyes.
