After weeks of preliminary qualifying games, the 12th Annual Tournament of Champions championship game was held last night in the Lander Hall gym between the COM Class of 2014 and COM Class of 2015.  As you recall from a previous message the COM 2's were considered by the Las Vegas odds makers to be huge favorites to administer a serious beat-down to the younger COM 1's.  As this reporter recalls, they were actually favored by 14 points...

Led by Ivan "REY-Allen" Rufo's strong shooting performance & Lisa Cuneo's passion on the floor, this team was not budging. They took an emphatic lead early and didn't look back, taking and securing the #4 seed.

Congratulations to COM 2014 for their 10+ point victory over COM 2015, with a score of 53-43. Led by Chau Bui's MVP strength and determination, being the ONLY girl on COM 2014's squad, she stayed in the whole ENTIRE game!!!!
